What we collect
When you fill in the form on this site, we collect the name you give us, the phone number you give us, and whatever you type into the box describing the work. That is the whole form. We do not ask for your address, your email or how you heard about us.
We also record the IP address the submission came from, and the page you were on when you sent it. That helps us spot automated spam and tells us which page actually generates calls.
If you call, text or email us instead, we have whatever you send us that way. If you email us, we have your email address.
Like almost every website, our server keeps standard access logs. Those record things like browser type, operating system and pages requested.
How we use it
- To answer your question and get you an estimate.
- To carry out the work if you hire us, and to stay in touch about it.
- To follow up if we have not heard back from you.
- To understand which parts of this site are useful and which are not.
We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, and we do not trade it.
Text messages and calls
Texting is the fastest way to reach us and it is the main thing this site asks you to do, so it is worth being clear about. If you send us your phone number through the form, or you text us first, you are agreeing that we can text and call you back about your request.
Reply STOP to any text from us and we will stop texting. Reply HELP if you need to reach a person. Your mobile carrier's normal message and data rates apply, because we have no control over what your carrier charges you.
Agreeing to be contacted is not a condition of hiring us. If you would rather we only ever called, or only ever emailed, say so and that is what we will do.
Who else sees it
A few companies handle your information because they run parts of this operation:
- Our web host. The site and its server logs live on their infrastructure.
- Tech Dad Media, who built and maintain this website. Form submissions are delivered through their system so that nothing gets lost, and they provide the basic traffic analytics for the site.
- Google Fonts. One typeface on this site is served by Google, which means Google's servers see the IP address of visitors loading it.
Beyond that, we will hand over information if the law genuinely requires it, such as a court order or a subpoena.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and job records for as long as we have a working relationship with you, and afterwards for as long as we need them for accounting, warranty and legal reasons. If you want your details removed sooner, ask and we will remove what we are not required to keep.
Security
This site is served over an encrypted connection and we take reasonable steps to keep your information from being seen by people who should not see it. We are a tree and land company, not a bank, and no website anywhere is completely secure. We are not going to pretend otherwise.
Your choices
- Ask us what we have about you, and we will tell you.
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete your information, subject to records we are legally required to keep.
- Tell us to stop contacting you, at any point, by any method.

Children
This site is meant for adults hiring a contractor. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes
If we change how any of this works, we will change this page and update the date at the top.
