Adam Pablo has been running this company in Venice for 23 years. It started on the water side, managing lakes, preserves and stormwater systems, and grew into the tree and land work that most people know us for now. That is why we are one of the few outfits around here that can take a property from the canopy all the way down to the drainage it sits on.
We are small on purpose. Adam is on the jobs and on the phone. Our crew is educated, well spoken and used to talking to customers, so if you want to come out and ask what we are doing and why, that is welcome. Most people find that unusual. It should not be.

What actually makes us different
Every contractor says they are honest and they show up. Here is what that looks like in practice, so you can hold us to it.
We own our equipment
A large collection of company owned machines and operators. Forestry mulchers, excavators, bucket trucks, lifts, cranes, grapple trucks and a stump grinder. Owned, not rented, with no subcontractors to worry about. That means we are not waiting on a rental yard to schedule your job, and it means the machine that shows up is one our operators know. On the mulching side we run Canadian made Denis-Cimaf heads, which are the gold standard for a fine, uniform finished product.
A large part of our work is repeat
The lake and preserve management side runs on multi year contracts with HOAs, CDDs and golf courses. Those customers can leave any year they want. They do not. That is a harder thing to fake than a review.
We explain the options instead of selling one
On lake bank restoration most companies offer one thing, a sock tube filled with sand. We will walk you through re-grading to the original slope, rip rap rock embankment, coconut fiber coir logs, and the PondTech plank system, with the budget for each. That conversation often saves clients half or more against the traditional approach.
No money up front on land clearing
Plenty of contractors take a deposit and then are not seen for months. We do not accept money until the job is complete, and we are generally never more than two weeks out.
We are here after the storm
Post hurricane cleanup is a large part of what we do, and we travel for it. Our crews roll self sufficient with travel trailers, generators and fuel, so we are working while other companies are still looking for somewhere to stay. We have been through Charley, Matthew, Florence, Irma, Michael, Sally and Ida. We have also sat in insurance billing courses, because knowing how to document and bill a claim properly is worth real money to the homeowner.
Hurricanes bring out dishonest people. We have spent years dealing with our neighbours at the worst moment of their lives and we intend to still be here afterwards.

Who owns ACI?
Adam Pablo owns and operates the company, and he is on the jobs. When you get a proposal from ACI you are dealing with the owner, not a call centre.
What certifications do you hold?
We have an ISA Certified Arborist on staff and we are a State Licensed Aquatic Herbicide Applicator. We carry workers compensation and general liability insurance, and we are BBB accredited with an A+ rating. Ask us for any of it in writing.
Why does insurance matter so much for tree work?
Because tree removal is statistically one of the most dangerous jobs there is, and it is happening over your house. If a company without workers compensation puts a man in your tree and something goes wrong, that can become your problem. Ask for the certificates. From us and from anyone else you call.
Do you work with HOAs and property managers?
A large portion of our work is multi year contract work for HOAs, CDDs and golf courses. We attend committee meetings, we get to know the whole stormwater system, and we show up when we say we will. In this industry that last part is rarer than it should be.
