Low-impact temporary access paths so geotechnical, environmental and materials testing crews can reach core sampling locations on large properties.

During the due diligence period on a large property, access is everything. The sampling plan puts boring locations deep inside parcels nobody has driven in years, and the clock on the deal does not stop while everyone figures out how to get a drill rig to them.
ACI works directly with geotechnical engineers, environmental consultants and materials testing firms across Southwest Florida to open temporary access roads and paths to core sampling locations. Whether the samples are being pulled by hand or with a truck mounted rig, we cut a route that gets the crew there and back without tearing up the property around it.
The approach is deliberately low impact. Narrow paths, the right sized equipment, and clearing techniques that minimize ground disturbance, protect the surrounding vegetation, and keep restoration costs down after the testing wraps.
We work from your boring location map. Send the sampling plan and we route access to each point, flag the constraints we see on the ground, and open the paths in the order your crew wants to hit them.
That coordination is the difference between a rig sitting at the property line and a crew logging sampling points all day. Engineering teams mobilize sooner, complete more locations per day, and keep the project on the schedule the deal timeline demands.
A due diligence property usually is not yours to tear up. The owner expects it back the way it was, and large scale clearing before a purchase decision is money spent on land you may not buy.
So we keep the footprint small. Narrow paths instead of wide lanes, mulching heads that grind vegetation in place instead of ripping it out, and equipment matched to the ground conditions. The surrounding vegetation stays, the ground stays stable, and there is far less to restore when testing is done.
ACI supports geotechnical, environmental consulting and materials testing firms throughout Southwest Florida, including projects in Sarasota, Venice, North Port, Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda.
On large developments, permitting and investment decisions ride on fast, reliable geotechnical data. Our job is to make sure access is never the reason that data is late.
This is a niche service, and most clearing contractors have never worked from a boring location map. We have. ACI runs its own forestry mulchers and excavators, our operators do this kind of selective, low-impact work every week, and we coordinate directly with the engineer running the sampling program instead of needing everything translated.
We carry workers compensation and general liability insurance and can send certificates before we mobilize, which matters when you are putting a subcontractor on a property your client does not own yet.

Usually within days, not weeks. Due diligence windows are short and we treat these jobs that way. Send the sampling plan and the property location and we will give you a schedule with the estimate.
Yes. Tell us what the crew is bringing and we size the route to it. A hand auger crew needs a walking path. A truck rig needs width, turning room and ground that will carry it. We cut to the equipment.
Most of it gets mulched in place. That keeps costs down, keeps the ground stable, and means there is no hauling and no burn pile on a property that is still someone else's.
That is how we prefer it. We take the boring map from the engineer, walk or route the property, and coordinate sequencing with whoever runs the sampling program. Fewer hand offs, fewer delays.
It depends on the length of the routes, the vegetation, and the equipment the paths have to carry. Estimates are free. Send the sampling plan and we will price the access work from it.
