Lakewood Ranch is not one neighborhood. It is a master planned community that runs east from Interstate 75 past Lorraine Road and crosses the Manatee and Sarasota county line, built out as villages like Country Club East, Greenbrook, Summerfield, Edgewater, Del Webb and Waterside. Nearly every one of them was laid out around water.
So most of our work here is not one tree in a front yard. It is pond banks, preserve tracts, drainage runs and common area canopy, managed by HOA boards, CDD supervisors and property managers who answer to a budget and a meeting calendar. We are used to that. We walk the site, put the scope and the number in writing, and show up on the day we said.
We also work for individual owners on the water in Edgewater, Greenbrook and the Lake Club, and we take storm calls anywhere on the Ranch. An ISA Certified Arborist is on staff. We carry workers compensation and general liability. Estimates are free. Text 941-445-3027 with an address and a photo.

Ponds, preserves and common area landscape usually belong to the district or the association, not to the homeowner whose sod happens to end at the water. Knowing which one owns the bank saves everybody a phone call and keeps the invoice going to the right place.
The other thing that matters here is access. Villages are gated, streets are narrow, irrigation heads and low voltage lighting sit close to the curb, and back lots run up against preserve. We size the machine to the gate, mat ground that will not take a load, and rake the site out before we leave. Crews arrive in uniform, in clean lettered trucks.

Lake & Preserve in Lakewood Ranch →On the Manatee County side, yes. The county requires a tree removal permit for trees in common areas maintained by an HOA, CDD or co-op, and for trees in landscape buffers, conservation easements and utility easements. Nuisance exotics like Brazilian pepper and Australian pine are unprotected and usually do not need one. We walk the property, tell you which category each tree falls into, and work that side out with your manager before anything gets cut.
Usually the district or the association, not you. Most ponds at the Ranch are stormwater infrastructure sitting inside a drainage easement or a district tract, even when your sod runs right up to the water line. We find out who owns the bank before we quote so the right party gets the estimate. On a CDD pond we work with the board and the operations office directly.
Yes. We cover the whole community, from Country Club and Edgewater on the Manatee side across to Waterside and Lakehouse Cove in Sarasota County. The county line changes which permitting office is involved, not whether we come out. Same crews, same trucks, same pricing.
We are open 24 hours and we stage before a storm rather than driving in behind everyone else. Our crews travel self sufficient with travel trailers, generators and fuel, which is how we worked Charley, Matthew, Florence, Irma, Michael, Sally and Ida. At the Ranch the first calls are almost always a blocked village entrance or a tree across a district road. Those move to the front of the list.
We work across Sarasota, Charlotte and Manatee Counties, and travel further for storm work.
